Nyköping’s natural surroundings are one of the city’s strong points. Around Nyköping is a landscape that is unique to the area. On the horizon here, the sky meets the Baltic Sea, while at the boundary with Östergötland, the undulating agricultural landscape gives way to the forbidding Kolmård forest
Take a trip to Labro Ängar (Labro Fields), to Stendörren, the archipelago natural reserve, to the Koppartorp mines or to the beaches of Lake Båven. And don’t forget our parks, lakeside forests and hills for climbing.
