Stockholm Business Alliance - unique regional collaboration started in 2006

Stockholm Business Alliance is the name of a unique collaborative partnership in the Stockholm–Lake Mälar region that was started in 2006. Its goal is to enhance and develop both local and regional work with commercial policies. This work also includes an international perspective given that competition for setting up businesses and attracting residential construction and visitors is intense.

In order to put the Stockholm–Lake Mälar region on the global map,
a mutual combining of forces and a common message are needed, which is why all international marketing is carried out using the message "Stockholm - The Capital of Scandinavia".
 
There has been considerable interest from the different local authorities in the region, with 36 of these currently involved, including Nyköping.
